Legacy Real Estate
Legacy Real Estate & Investments specializes
in commercial real estate sales in the
areas of passive income investment (such
as NNN
retail properties and Tenant in common
investments). Legacy has represented
more Buyers than Sellers.
The President,
Kathy Heshelow, founded the company after
working with the well-established firm Richardson
Kleiber Walter in Sarasota, Florida. She has
had experience and sales in every type of real
estate (office, industrial, retail, restaurants,
apartments, motels, land and some leasing
transactions). However, she now concentrates only
on passive income properties for her clients.
She has sold over $74,700,000 in property in the
last 6 years. She is securities-licensed in ALL
states EXCEPT Arkansas, Delaware, Idaho, Kansas,
Louisiana, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New
Hampshire, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wyoming for securitized TICs and private placements. Kathy has
authored the first and only book about TICs
entitled Effortless Cash Flow: the ABCs of TICs
(Tenant in Common properties) which was
released in May 2006. The second edition was
released June 2007, with the third edition due out
July 2008.
Legacy is committed to the
highest levels of service and integrity, and
was formed to work directly
with each client and provide personalized service
that is responsive and resourceful. Legacy
works with and represents Buyers for properties
and she lists and markets properties for Sellers,
attaining the best price and terms possible.
The President of Legacy lived in Europe (Paris,
France) for 16 years,
and is widely traveled. She earned her Bachelor's
Degree at The American University of Paris, the
oldest accredited university abroad, and she has
taken a number of graduate courses. After a career
in public relations-marketing-educational administration
(with Parsons School of Design-Paris and The
American University of Paris),
she returned to the United States.
Among
memberships, she is currently a member of the
national organization Commercial Real Estate
Women (CREW), Tampa Bay chapter, winning new
member of the year award in her first year. She
is a member of REISA ( Real Estate
Investment Securities Association) (formerly TICA)
and also serves as Vice Chair of the Ethics
Committee; ICSC (International Council
of Shopping Centers), belongs to CCIM , and is a member of the
Federation of Exchange Accomodators (FEA). Kathy is a Realtor, member of the National
Realtor Association, which aspires towards the
highest standards in the profession.
She is also a member of the social and philanthropic
organization Krewe of Southern Sisterhood.
